InnerCompass Reiki Drumming Classes

Quite simply, Reiki Drumming is a class to find your inner voice. Reiki Drumming influences the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies, simultaneously. The drumming creates a vibration to raise our bodies to the vibration of the pulse of the earth and the Universal flow of creation. While using the drum and receiving a Reiki drum treatment our energy becomes entrained to the higher vibration of Reiki.

There are several books written about drumming. How to make a drum, how to use a drum, how to hold ceremony with a drum and I have referenced them in the back of this book. What is different about this training is the addition of Reiki to the drumming. 

This class introduces methods to enhance the power to send Reiki at a distance as well as strengthening the vibration on the planet. 

As we connect with Reiki, our drumming is a way to connect with Spirit. People have connected with the Divine through drumming since ancient times. The combination of using Reiki and drumming is a powerful way to facilitate healing.

Note from Chellie: Shamans have been drumming for generations. Perhaps, because of the name Sha-MAN I honestly thought drumming was not for me. I have included in the back of this manual a copy of an article I wrote about taking this class.  It has recently occurred to me a big chunk of my hesitancy, besides my obvious lack of rhythm, was it felt like to me more like a class for men. This class is for everyone. After researching, I found there is a lot of evidence, that even before there were shamans who were the spiritual leaders of their community, most communities revolved around feminine deities. Goddesses were worshipped. People in ancient times revered women and their ability to create life. The cycles of the moon played a large part of these cultures and researchers are wondering if the shape of the drum and the moon have a connection. We don’t really know the answer to that but what I do know is there is a large amount of evidence showing women were always drummers. So, no matter who you are or what musical talent you have, you were created for this.
